Successful managment of your tinnitus annoyance
Do you suffer from tinnitus – buzzing, ringing, whistling and other sounds in the ears or head? Have you been told to “go home and learn to live with it”? There ARE effective ways to reduce your attention to these annoying sounds and to regain control of your life. Hear about the many causes of tinnitus, how these are investigated, the effects of tinnitus, its relationship with hearing, and ways you can reduce tinnitus annoyance – SUCCESSFULLY.

(C)entral auditory processing disorders & listening difficulties
We offer information sessions to families about Central Auditory Processing Disorders. These are provided at our City and Glenelg North offices and are approximately 90 minutes in duration. Topics include; the auditory system, auditory processing, common characteristics of children with auditory processing disorder, the auditory processing assessment procedure, and management of auditory processing disorders at home and at school. Parents can attend these sessions prior to their child’s auditory processing assessment to learn about the assessment procedure and/or they can attend afterwards to find out how they can help their child improve their listening skills. Please contact one of our offices to book to attend a session in 2011. Cost: $40 per person or $60 per couple.
